How do I take a sticker off a car window?

I heard vineger and a razor would do. It's one of those stickers people make for you in a mall, which is made specifically for car windows. Anyone know?

  • scrape as much as you can.. and then apply...

    mayonaisse...!

the viscocity will keep it on the surface and the oils will help breakdown the glues

I've done it - it works and no fancy products to buy,

    just raiding your fridge!

ps. you are better off using a plastic drywall / putty knife than a razor, the latter can scratch your glass

  • Use some spray oil, like WD-40. No kidding, if you'll peel just enough of a corner up so that you're able to squirt some oil between the sticker and the glass, you'll find it'll come off easily. Careful using any metal objects like blades-they can scratch your window. The oil forms a layer on the glass that won't let anything stick to it, so you can usually just s-l-o-w-l-y peel the thing off.

    Viola!

  • spray with alchol based glass cleaner let sit for a few then slowly and carefully remove with razor blade, gently pull while you scrape. Don't use mayo thats crazy. If you want to save the Sticker this is what you do. Tip: keep wet with the alchol based glass cleaner while you remove and you can reuse sticker when clearner dries, so clean the area around it first.

  • in the event that they are paper based an previous trick is to soften them by skill of reducing products of newspaper to a truly greater length, soaking them in water and laying them over the sticky label for a couple of minutes. This softens the paper and glue and can be scraped off with an previous razor blade. while you're affected person adequate, now and back they're going to easily peel off after the soaking.

  • Soap and water is the best i wouldn't use a razor blade cause it might scratch your window. Just peel and then take the soap and water and a little elbow grease will do the trick

  • a razor usually works! Good Luck with your sticker

  • razor blade, and after wipe some rubbing acohol to get off the glue

  • Razor blade, window scraper, goo begone, wd40.

  • Pull off as much as you can. Then I use a solvent, like acetone and a razor blade, (single edged blade)

  • I like to use WD40, but their is fluid made for just sticker removal.
