Easy recipes from Navarra, La Rioja, or Basque Country/Pais Vasco?
I'm doing a project on Spanish autonomies, and I have Navarra, La Rioja, and Basque Country/Pais Vasco. Does anyone have some easy cookie or dessert recipes? Actually, they could be any type of recipe, but they have to be able to sit out all day (i'm bringing them to school with no refridgerator).
thanks!
Update:cookies would be prefered!

Navarra... = Mamia/Cuajada, it's like a type of Yogurt. It's served with honey and nuts... I think it's TERRIBLE... but you can see if you can find it in a store, I know it's yogurt, but in school when I was younger almost EVERY child had in their lunchbox
Basque Country... = You can cheat here Search for Gâteau Basque cake =]
Basically a sponge cake, but made with Cherry jam - Basque Cherries are the best in the World. The original recipe is from the French Basque country and is made with Itsasu Cherry's
La Rioja = Again you could choose Mamia or Arroz-esne (Basque Word...) Rice-Milk, creamed rice
I think it's Roman/Christian food but eaten a Christmas etc.
Or you could go with something simple like Melon, or berry fruits that can be found in this region... We don't eat a lot of deserts like in the U.S
... Cookies are from the U.S
So you only other option would be to make cherry flavored cookies ??
