I use DDR2 Ram does that mean I can only use DDR2 graphics cards?
Comments
Yes, the mother board may support only DDR 2 memory will not matter for the memory type of graphics card. They work independently. See the specification here : http://support.acer.com/acerpanam/desktop/0000/Ace...
Expansion Slots 1 PCI Express® X16 slot
1 PCI Express® X1 slot
2 PCI 2.3 (5 V) slots
Shared memory means that part of the main RAM memory is used by the graphics card if and when needed.
ram and graphics memory has no connection.
Go for GDDR5(available on latest cards)... Or also DDR3.. No prob... Since u own a gtx210... Should try upgrading anyway, if u r a gamer extreme
I think you can use ddr3
