I want to try the Magick archer but I have a top rank Fighter. If I spend 1500 discipline on the vocation is it hard to play because I'm quite a few hours into the game.
If u change ur class, u will not lose ur levels, u will stay the same level. But u will lose all ur ranks and all ur skills, and u will probably have to buy different weapons, depending on the class u chose. In ur case, changing from fighter to magic archer, u will need to buy daggers and a magic bow, and a staff, since magic archer can't wield swords.It will be pretty difficult if u change after all those hours, becz u will not have any skills, so i dont recommend it. In my opinion though, magic archer is way better than a fighter, cuz he is really effective up close and afar. If u are that desperate for a magic archer, then try it. U can always go back to ur original class without spending any DP.
