2008 Hyundai car alarm problem?
my car was in a little accident recently with a stop sign and since then its alarm has been going off non-stop. i have a 2008 Hyundai Elantra. Is there a way it can get fixed do-it-yourself style?

they actually put car alarms on Hyundai...wow times are tough
Two Hyundai experts will be telling you the same. The hood switch has a rubber stopper mounted on the hood side. This stopper must push the switch down in order to let the BCM module understand the hood is closed. If your hood is slightly bent (as result of impact), the rubber stopper might not be pushing the switch all the way down to close the circuit. If this is the case, just fix the hood or push the switch bracket upwards to make proper contact between the two, in order to get the switch closed.
You possibly bent the hood switch that controls the alarm. Open your hood and on the left side (your left as you face the engine) you will see a button on the edge of the quarter panel about midway between the front of the car and the windshield, bend it upwards a little. Hope this helps.
If it is a factory installed alarm take it back to Hyundai they can probably either disable it or pull the fuse on it. Your neighbors will thank you.
The little beeper horn would are transforming into moist and you blew a fuse. come across the fuse employing your vendors instruction manual and see if its blown. If its blown replace and if it blows back precise away wait some days and attempt back..
