Log(3x+1)=3. Can anyone show me how to solve this? Thanks a bunch.
you didn't mention the base of log so i will assume it is common log to base 10
its a fact that :
if logn(m) = a then n^a = m
use this here
log10(3x+1) = 3
it means :
3x+1 = 10^3
3x +1= 1000 subtracting 1
3x = 999 divide by 3
x = 333
