AC Power Cord for philips docking system?

okay well one day i decided to brink the entertainment system outside and the tip of the AC power cord for the Philips Docking entertainment system dcm230 broke and i cant fine one anywhere. i just need the power cord can anyone help me out

    Detachable power cords are typically one of two types in North America, C7/C8 or C13.

    IEC connectors:

    See which one you need and go to your local electronics mega store and browse their cable selection. Some hardware stores may have them also. If need be you could order one online

    if you have a radio shack near by. you can bring it in and they will find a connector that will fit it.i did this for my portable dvd player. btw they had like 30 test plugs for this stuff. good luck on your hunt
