Grade 9 Drama, Monologue. About Community Issues?

For our grade 9 Drama, we have to do a monologue about community issues. I cannot decide on what to write about. Please help me, much appreciated.

Is there something in your community you would like to see changed? The monologue could be from the point of view of an angry citizen at a town meeting or a politician trying to change the problem. Pick a character that is concerned and a problem and a setting (where are they speaking). That might help?
