Was your daughter a daddy's girl?
We just found out were having a baby girl and already people are saying she's going to be a daddy's girl. I'm wondering if this is just a sang or do girls tend to favor there dads more. In my personal experience I favored my mom more because she was easier on me. For example: My mom would have me clean the bathroom as a chore, my dad would have me pull weeds, cut branches, work tractors, etc... What was your personal experience?

I kinda want my daughter to be a daddy's girl because I want her to have a strong relationship with her dad, I think it may be because my dad wasn't around when I was growing up (my mum finally got up the courage and left him when I was 7 months old because he was into drugs, in and out of prison and violent). Obviously I want her to have a strong relationship with me too. I don't think every girl is a daddy's girl, I only know one and she's about 7. I've noticed it tends to me more 'daddy's boy' and 'mummy's girl', a lot of my friend's boys prefer their dads and the girls prefer their mums, but that's just what seems to be around my friend's and their kids. I have a mummy's boy though because my sons dad left us before my son was even 2 weeks old and until I met my partner it was just the two of us.
I was such a daddys girl when I was little. I'm not as much anymore, but I do love my dad a lot. I'm really close with my mom now and I'm 19. I think just as I got older I would have rather spent time with my mom. Around 15 is when I just wanted to be with my mom. My boyfriends sister is a daddy's girl too. My sister isn't much of a daddy's girl, she would rather be with my mom. I think it just depends on the person honestly.
i am a total daddy's girl bec he is capable of showing love in the most
difficult times even in his awkward ways and that is why i am forever
dad's girl. he finds way to connect to all of us even if during those
times we seldom understand. he can affirm his love in the most
absurd ways but very endearing ... ^.^
do not fear if your daughter will be a dads girl ..
Trust me, when she gets her first period and dad don’t know
what she’s going through, the daddy’s girl title will be dissolved
like cattle in a nuclear testing zone.
