i am Asia-sick , feeling depressed :(?

I am a teenager who loves traveling a lot.

Originally i am from Mexico and recently for my quinceañera i wanted to go to Asia (Japan and China) and i have LOTS OF FUN!! Meet my half Chinese and half Mexican cousins and other family :) SUPER FUN! now that i am back here in USA i feel depressed ... I miss the food (so healthy and less greasy) i miss the Asian boys ( i kno there are tons here in USA but nahhh) i miss going to the temple i miss taking the subway in Beijing i miss talking with random people i miss miss shopping in the hutongs i miss going to the Tokyo Tower :,( i feel depressed lately.. I dont even want to eat food and i am starting school tomorrow! I dont wanna be all like " i am Asia-sick" cuz Asia is not my hometown but i dont know like it feels like my "hometown" I swear myself to learn Mandarin Chinese and live in Hong Kong ( it brings my day :) but i kept getting depressed like if i lost something :/ how can i get rid of this "Asia-sick"

BTW : Asia is not the first plAce i ever traveled i been to the Caribbean and South America but i never had such behavior

  • I see, I would also love to go to Asia... Specifically in Japan... :( I haven't got the luck to travel to many places like you, so I can't say any experience at all... But I understand your point, there so much in the world, places, cultures, I would just love to travel and live in many places in the world. Still, you'll need to manage that emotion and concentrate on school and on your life in your current country, then get a nice job that you love, make money and when you're ready and want to, move to China and live in Hong Kong... Hope this helps... :)

  • You just need to transfer your attention and go somewhere else. Every place has its disadvantages, you just see the bright side of it.
