Triangular trade essay.?

Hi

for my final tomorrow, we are supposed to write an essay about the triangular trade.

the question is: Explain the process of the Triangular Trade in the 1600-1700s. Include who was involved, what was involved, and why it followed this process.

would it make sense if i wrote this...

The Triangular Trade marked the emergence of a new world economy. The pattern of triangular trade connected Europe, Africa and Asia, and the American continents. European merchant ships carried European manufactured goods, such as guns and cloth, to Africa, where they were traded for a cargo of slaves. The slaves were then shipped to the Americans and sold. European merchants then bought tobacco, molasses, sugar, and raw cotton and shipped them back to Europe to be sold in European markets.

i'm not sure if it clearly explains why it followed the process or something lol.

can anyone please tell me if this is an okay answer. if it's not, can you please give me some constructive criticism!

thank yo

  • This directly points to the opium wars and the world trading system. Opium was the middle leg of the trade industry for many years.

It is a little late to be studying this in depth now but try any way.

there is also the slave trade mostly from the english thatwas the middle leg of the trading industry between Europe and the americas. This also takes time to study in depth and it is late.

The slave trade is still in operation today.

  • Triangular Trade Essay

  • well i think asia needs to be either eliminated or mentioned in your explantion...it adds a confusing edge to the essay...however, the rest is good but you might wanna specify who they bought tobacco, molasses, etc from (goods produced by America through slave labor)...
