has anyone who has done a psychology degree do a developmental exam in their first year? i have mine comin up and was wondering what people thought of it?
Yes, developmental psychology is a very broad term. In my first year i had to know all the theories (Freud, Erickson,. Piaget, Vigotsky,.....) some genetics and the develop of the child during his first 6 years.
I like developmental psychology and the exam wasn't so difficult.
It's not too bad, just memorise the main psychologists in the field and their theories and a study for each .' Gross ' is a really good book for this ( even though it's A-level).
It really wasn't that hard. Just remember who did what-Ericson etc. allot of questions regarding neonates up through adolescence. If ya know it it will come as your writing the test.
