How to embed content copied from a powerpoint program into a new ppt slide?
I weekly have to consolidate a selection of >Update:
On e clarification, I do NOT want to insert whole slides from other presentations. Rather I want to insert only a portion of a slide from various files into a final executive sumary slide deck. Then have that embedded object change as the content in the other slides changes.

Simplest manner would frequently be to take a screenprint, paste into phrase and then crop out the encompassing areas, i.E. The window, to depart simply the slide itself which that you may then enlarge. Or, which you could reserve it in jpeg format so you can, from inside phrase, Insert picture from file.
Use Insert > Slides from other Presentation
Or switch to slide sorter view, select the slides you wish to move and drag them from one presentation to another.
