How do I write a poem?

Hi, I'm in 8th grade and my English teacher told me to write a poem. But I don't know how. The topic of the poem is how I felt the day of the Twin towers attack 9/11. Could someone give me some tips on how to do it thanks.

  • Step one brainstorm: write a list of the things you think when you think of 9/11. I think of the twin towers, airplane crash, terrorists, death, sorrow, United States of America, Afganistan...etc., Step two: write a poem about it using some of the brain storming ideas. Example: strangers abroad take flight in the sky, carrying self-made weapons of a malicious design. And as I watched the plane as it crashed, I stood in horror as the twin towers collapsed - kinda of choppy example, but you get the picture. Good luck!

  • Human emotions can pop out in various learn and/or misinterpret approaches. You can check out utilising a dictionary to upgrade your average vocabulary and your vocabulary concerning rhymed phrases and sentences earlier than utilising them in a train of writing poems or every other types of expressive texts. But the fewer you utilize them the much more likely you're to consider such as you forgot approximately them,i assume. You would attempt to write down or form up average sentences first earlier than looking to change a few phrases with rhyming synonyms or phrases. It can take time however however, time will hold on going in any case.So although you failed and felt like switching to a different subjectively simpler kind of exaggerated expression,it won't appear like a waste of time in case you didn't suppose and consider so.You would learn poems and/or use that wish of writing poems in,for instance, looking to write a poem approximately the act of writing poems and your relative emotions and elements(in case you felt one of these wish even as googling a few maybe fairly discouraging-from some way of watching at it-stuff)...

  • Think about your desire person or your preferred things. try to sing a song with that nmae o name and share your feelings in your writing. keep trying.
