How do I import pictures from a Nikon D3000 onto a Macbook?
I keep plugging the camera in and turning it on, and it says somthing is supposed to pop up on the screen. And nothing does. So im really confused and I cant find it in the computer file.

Have you plugged both sides of the USB cable into the computer and camera? Make sure the camera is turned off until you have done so. When you turn the camera on, iPhoto should open and it will automatically ask if you'd like import your pictures.
I use a Nikon D3000 and MacBook as well.
