Does the USA media report fake events for propaganda purposes?
Are the things we see in the "news" reported truthfully or are they simply made up events designed to create certain effects on the public for political or financial reasons?

Not ordinarily. I'm sure you're going to get some infowars idiots coming on here with their fabricated conspiracy evidence that this happens all the time but no. For example... any reporter would kill their own mother to find evidence that 9/11 was an inside job but the evidence certainly isn't there. If you read up on all the facts surrounding stuff like that conspiracy theorists will say that certain documents even say things that they don't even say. The media themselves won't fabricate a story but the source from where the story comes from certainly can fabricate something to make it seem like something it's not. For all the people that think the US is nothing but a big Propaganda tool why don't you move to Asia or Africa or even certain parts of Europe who would be glad to have you.
some of what you see in main line media is true but some isn't. gulf of tonga bay is 1 example where the govt told the american citizens that north korea had sunk and destroyed there ships Lindon announced to the public that quote"north korea has attacked and our boys are floating in the water" the american people then gave the govt' the ok to attack some 50,000 men died in that war but later is was discovered it was all a lie to get the american people to agree to the war. The next point had happened 11 years ago and is still fresh in peoples minds 9/11/2001 the world trade centres, this is now being show to be a hoax set up by the u.s.a government so they could invade and attack iran with out the people of the u.s.a knowing that iran had not actually attacked which is true iran didn't attack america al kida did and so they told the citizens of bin ladin and how he was a terrorist but it turned out binladin was a trained former c.i.a asset(spy). There are many other cases where the people have not been told the truth about what really happened. think about this the u.s.a spent some 4 million dollars to investigate Bill Clinton's affair with monica Lewinsky but only spent 600 thousand investigating the events of 9/11/2001. The 3 governments of mexico. america, and canada signed what is known as the north america union which sometime in the coming time will unite all 3 countries as 1 this was signed by bush in 2005 and is on a very obscure seldom looked at site that most people like us would never be able to access. the united state has been run by the bush family and clinton family's for nearly 20 years when questioned about it there was no comment next thing we know obama is in as the president but he is related to bush as a cousin 9 times removed. There are many reasons for why they do this 1 is to control the population of the world. 2 to maintain control over the masses with fear and lack of knowledge 3 war is good business and makes big money at the cost of innocent lives. One of the main weapons contractors for the u.s.a is general electric who in turn owns most of the main line media we see on t.v today and why would a corporation like ge allow this cos there selling there weapons to the u.s.a government and making big money. There are basically 13 family's who own this world the Rothschild's,Rockefeller's,MacDonald's so on you can look it up for the rest of them. These are what is considered the royal blood family's and are above the law in almost every aspect of life basically they could kill you in public and someone else will be blamed.
You mean like when the media in the USA was reporting that a member of the muslim brotherhood could be elected as Egypt's next President, and everyone said they were lying and fear mongering?
I'm not to sure about fake reporting, but definitely the media do have their agenda in their reporting
