HOW TO CONVERT .WPL FILES TO .MP3? MEDIA PLAYER?

all the songs on my media player are .wpl files and i cant convert them to mp3s by just changing the endings to .mp3. And don't say .wpl files are not music files, they are. Is there a website or a way to change it without having to download a special program?
