Reverse music video circa 1999-2000?
I need your help! I saw a music video in 1999 or 2000 (I thought it was for a Weezer song but it appears that was an impossible hypothesis) and I MUST find out what song it was. I don't remember the plot of the music video very well, but, roughly, it was some catastrophe at a birthday party (cake, lots of interesting people, potentially something catching fire, falling into a pool) and, if my memory doesn't fail me (which it very likely does), the music video was at least partially in reverse, like this catastrophe was averted or at least explained by the video's end.
THIS IS REALLY BOTHERING ME. I must find out. I've been pondering this for ten years. Thanks for your help.
Update:Also everyone was rocking out and it was definitely a band.
