  • I've been using the Parabolic blades for about 2 years. The blades I had previously was a cheaper blade that came with the boot, so when I upgraded to the Parabolics, I expected a big difference. Truth is, it felt about the same =/ Hah. But don't get me wrong, it's not like these blades are bad or anything, they're just not...superior. Lol. For me, I feel like it dulls quickly (but that depends on how often you skate, I skate 4 times a day). These blades have never let my down, though. I'm working on my double loop/flip and working on my Senior MIF, if that helps.

So for you, are you a serious skater working on doubles/triples? Or a beginning skater on singles? I think the Parabolics are good for skaters who are transitioning from a beginner to a serious skater. Not a bad blade at all, though! Hope I helped, and good luck with you and your skating! :)

  • Ive been using pattern 99 parabolic blades for about 3 years... I love them! I will never use another blade... although this year they made them quite a bit wider which affected my skating alot- i was so used to the thinner blades. still very good. highly recommend

  • ive used parabolic blades for 2 yrs, but then switched back to just gold seal blades.

parabolic blades do indeed help with edges better, but they took me a while to get used to, especially in my spins.

later i switched back to regular gold seal blades because the parabolic blades were often unavailable in my size (9.25")

    but they did work well
