Return a TV with no car?

Just moved to my dorm out of state. My mom bought me a TV (or so she thought) it was really a computer monitor (fail) with no way of connecting to cable. I can use xbox but with no sound.

So I want to return it but I have no car and I dont want anyone to have to take me and wait while I return this. So what should I do? taxi?

    ask someone to drive you there, and call a taxi to take you back. that way no one has to wait for you. or just take a taxi both ways

    You could rent a car from Hertz or Enterprise, etc.
