senior year project? social experiment?
i heard about this senior girl who had to do a senior year project and she wanted to study rumors and social stuff so she pretened to be pregnant and studied how different people treated her. do any of you have any ideas for projects like that? can you think of any social experiments?

Here in cyberspace..........a little game many like to play, is to fake their own death. They use some sock puppet to start the rumor that so and so, has died, and then watch the reactions of others over this tragic news. Updates are usually given by some "friend" who claims to have attended the funeral,. or sat by their bedside in the hospital as poor , dear ol sweet so and so, was dying.
In reality.......it's the same person...........who just wants to see what people will say about their passing.
Another REALLY popular game here................Like CRAZY popular, is to just befriend someone......and act all cool and stuff.........and then start an argument over NOTHING.
It could be about Polaroids, or Pink ink, or sheep,. or whatever...............doesn't matter.........just start accusing the person of trying to INSULT you, and HURT you.........and then sit back as they go apesh*t insane, trying to defend themselves and follow your logic...........(but of course , that's the secret.............you're not being fair or logical , AT ALL.......) and you just KEEP making more and more bizarre claims........and then twist all their words and explanations and just cherry pick your favorite parts.......and use their own words back against them..............and the game is a little like "Telephone"............where the message becomes SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO garbled.......
the person can't even figure out what the HELL you're talking about anymore......and the TRICK is..........to try to keep them on the line.......(sending emails back and forth) ....as LONG as possible..........before they finally become so aggravated and puzzled and pissed off, that they tell you to eff off , in very colorful language!
Then you end the game, by saying it's all THEIR fault...........for not understanding all your rubbish............AND THEN YOU SLAM THE PHONE DOWN ON THEM!

People here seem to LOVE that game!
So you can keep score.....and try to break your record, with each successive sucker you lure into that game and try to break your own record each time.
I see that game being played here ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time.
Classic stuff. It never gets old apparently.
How about nonverbal behavior. I wrote a college thesis on nonverbal behavior and found it to be a fascinating subject which actually helped me land my fist real job.
