So I'm buying a new laptop for gaming and in my old computer I had a radeon 5000 series, not sure which one. So what's the equivalent to a radeon 5000 in a nvida gpu. An also how good is a GT 610M?

GT 610m are pretty bad. You won't get much more than low settings, dependining on your cpu.I can't really tell you the equivalent without knowing the specific one in the 5000 series.
