Why can't I paste these photos onto my SD card???.....?
I put some photos onto my computer from my camera and have then tried copying them onto my SD card so I can put them in my phone. I do this all the time and haven't done anything differently but this time it's coming up with a message and saying 'The disk is write protected - remove the write-protection or use another disk'. What does this mean and why is it suddenly saying this?

Your SD card has a little tab on the side - a write-protect tab. Slide it to unprotect the data.
If the tab is up near the contact strips, then it's NOT protected, slide toward the bottom of the card and it's protected.
You probably just caught it by accident - or 'wondered' what that's for...
try checking the little tab on the right. If that doesn't work your SD card may be corrupt. If you have files on the SD card you want to keep, copy and past the files from your SD to your computer. If you DON'T have any files on the SD follow these steps:
Right click on the SD card. Select Format. Wait for it to complete. NOTE, this will eraase everything so make sure there are no important files.
your SD card is locked, on the top left there should be a little clip ir slider and usually next to it says lock then an arrow pointing to lock poistion just move the slider back
basically what the other person said
dont copy highlight the picture then send to sd card try this way if is work
