can you remove data plan on your 2 year contract?

i have sprint and i want to get the iphone but i dont wanna pay for data and what i wanna do is go get the iphone say i want the data plan and then like in a week call and cancle the data plan can i do that??

    You can do that, but what would be the point of having an iphone wothout a data plan?
