Natural Horsemanship: help!?

I was thinking about having a bonding day with my mare tomorrow, she's an older Pure Arabian. I've had her since I was 3, I'm 16 now. I was just wondering what are some things I could do that are really affective. She's always really quiet, and still when I'm with her, and we're working on the bow right now, so any tips are appreciate. Any Spanish Walkers out there? What's the technique to that? Thanks guys! :)
