I'm 16 dpo , do my temperatures look promising for pregnancy?

My luteal phase has always been 15 so AF should have arrived yesterday, right? I'm confused! We've been ttc# for 1 month & 24 days now and we're really praying we are! I don't know what to think!

This is my chart

Please look at it and tell me what do you think!! Many many thanks and lots of baby dust & prayers to all couples TTC out there, send lots of baby dust & prayers our way too plz! :)

Update:

DOES THIS MEAN THAT MY OPK TESTS GOT THE WRONG OVULATION DAY? CAN THEY DO THAT?

Comments

  • I would agree with HooKooDo. I think your O day was actually CD19, which would put you at 14dpo today.

What kind of OPK do you use? If you use the ones where the line is "as dark as or darker than" the control line, it can be hard to tell the darkness of the lines and could read it as positive when it really wasn't.

If you use a digi where it gives you a smiley face for the positive and an empty circle for a negative, it could be that it somehow caught the verrrryyyy beginning of the surge. You tend to ovulate 24-36 hours after the positive OPK, so that's how you could've gotten a positive OPK but not seen the thermal shift until a couple days later.

The most definitive thing you need to go by is the temps and chart first, then the OPK. OPKs can tell you that your body is getting *ready* to ovulate, but only the thermal shifts with the temps can *prove* that you did actually ovualate.

Unforunately with your temps steadily dropping, I would say that AF is on her way. :( I'm realllllllllyyyyyy hoping I'm wrong for ya, but sadly I think she's coming.

Hang in there and don't give up hope!! Keep charting too! Its a great tool to use for TTC

  • Your temperatures are kind of on their way down. Mine have done that just prior to the arrival of the world's worst aunt.

    I'm also TTC #1 for about 1 month and 19 days :-)

I hope it happens soon! I ovulate SO late in my cycles so..... it might be harder than I always thought it would be.

    baby dust to all....

  • While I'm not chart expert (been years since we did it), I think you are only 14dpo (that the computer picked the wrong ovulation date), and as others have said, temperatures are on their way down. I expect AF by lunch tommorrow.

  • Many women are aware that they are pregnant from the signs and signals their body gives them long before they test positive for pregnancy. During the initial onset of pregnancy you may feel some bloating, cramping, nausea, you may have more frequent urination, and you may notice increased creamy discharge. In 6 to 12 days you may notice some light pink or brown spotting or experience a short or light period as implantation occurs. Some women on an intuitive or emotional level feel something is different. Nausea is one of the truest signs of pregnancy and cannot be confused with an oncoming period.

What are the next signs of pregnancy?

Next you may experience morning sickness with the associated nausea and vomiting. You may also experience sore breasts, fatigue, spotting pink or brown, cramping, dizziness, headaches, food cravings and fever. If you are recording your body temperatures you will notice that your temperature continues to stay high after ovulation. Wait for at least 7 to 14 days after a missed period to home pregnancy test in order to confirm what you already know. Disregard too early home pregnancy test results.

The moment you feel nausea coming on reach for a high protein snack and a glass of water and you will feel better quickly. Begin to take a high quality prenatal vitamin and mineral, usually found at a health food store to help create a healthy pregnancy and help prevent miscarriage. A protein snack and a glass of water in the evening before bed will help you to prevent morning nausea.

  • I hope I am wrong but it looks like AF is on her way :( You never know for sure until she shows up though. Plus you are above your coverline so who knows? Lots of baby dust ~:)
