Best economic espresso machine?

I am a coffee lover but the price of drinks are ridiculous. So me and my cousin decided were going to buy an espresso machine and start experimenting with some drink combinations. Since ive never owned one before im not really sure what i should look for in one. We're going for the more economic options since we cant dish out $300 right now. So ive found a couple decent options in my opinion (the cheapest ones). So which one would be the better value?

  • I have a Rancilio Silvia, and it's lasted me 3 years so far. check out the quality, I've had no problems

  • Try the Aerobie AeroPress Coffee and Espresso Maker for only $44.99 at AllBestCoffeeMakers or Delonghi BAR32 Black Retro Style Espresso Maker, Saeco Aroma Espresso Machine Black, Delonghi BCO130T Combination Coffee Espresso Machine for only $300.

  • If you are looking for a quality espresso, you should buy quality. You definitely get what you pay for when it comes to making an espresso. I would stick to the top brands in the espresso industry.. Breville, Nespresso, Gaggia.. The Delonghi is a nice brand, but the model you mentioned will not cut it!

  • DeLonghi has more of a rep, however you would probably do better with warranty and replacement items with Mr. Coffee.

I hear what your saying -- I haven't bought a nice cup for a while now. Not even a DD.
