Personally, I think it's WAY over the top. Bell bottomed jeans, wide ties, and checked leisure suits looked sharp in the '70's... It's just not the look of today's contemporary muscle machines, and I simply can't bring myself to ever own a vehicle whose hood scoop is purely cosmetic. Few things scream "poseur" louder than that.
On the other hand, it's certainly unique and reflected the look of the time. As the last production year, it has a certain additional nostalgic value to it (even if it was only 7 years ago). If you like it, I say go for it. At $10.5K, it's right at "blue book", so you should have a little negotiating room. I'd offer $9K and settle for $9.5K.
