razer carcharias headset mic problem PLEASE HELP!?
So I was talking to my friends on skype and all of a sudden my mic got really quiet. According to my friends it was normal and then all of a sudden it got really quiet, I was worried so I used the echo sound thing and then I tried using various other recording applications and all of them it was quiet! Is it a hardware problem? If it is or isn't what should I do?
Update:I have tried those things mentioned before and it isn't my headset because i've tried various different microphones. Can it be my motherboard that's broken?

1.go to control panel.
2.go to hardware and sound.
3.under the sound tab go to manage audio devices.
4.click the recording tab.
5.click on your mic and go to proprieties or right click it.
6.click on the levels tab and scroll the microphone boost to your desired boost.
If that doesn't work try and update the driver for it.
Razer Carcharias Mic Not Working
Try checking Tools>Options>Audio settings. Skype likes to change settings on my computer randomly. Disable auto adjustments and turn the volume up all the way. Also, check if the mic volume on your headset is up all the way. Then try recording your voice and playing it back to see if its the headset itself or your settings.
