Computer dog game name?

i used to play a game on the computer where you get to pick what dogs you want to play with. then you can bring them outside to play go inside and play bring them to the closet to play with them. i used to play this along time ago but i forgot what it was called. can anybody help me?

    It might be Sims pets? If it is for computer only it wouldnt be nintendogs but may be if not.
