78 bronco tranny?
I have a 78 bronco 4x4 with the C6 manuel tranny. Is there a 5 speed mt, or at that will bolt in if I change the bell housing? What make is it out of, I need to be able to find it in a junk yard.

I think that broncos in that era only came with either an automatic or a 4 speed trans. Later versions added a 5-speed to the mix, and there are several out there that you could convert. try www.broncograveyard.com or fullsizebronco.com. Good luck.

C6 is model number for ford auto transmission/many later model ford pickups and suv were available with manual trans/I personally stay away from ones made by mazda as they are hard to find parts for and expensive to repair
Dude, you can use a T5 borg warner trans, which are found in any 5.0 mustang. These trans are one of the best 5-speeds ever produced.
