Grades to get into a private college?
My parents keep telling me that my grades aren't good enough to get into a private college, but I have nothing lower than a B. I'm not sure of my grade point average but in the two years I've been in high school for, I've alwaaays had A's and and one or two B's. This semester I'll probably have two B's and four A's on my final report card.
So I guess my main question is what grades do private colleges expect?

well each private school varies and not all private schools need you to have good grades to be accepted into. unless you are planning to to go an ivy league school you will be fine
Well all private schools do not operate the same. It depends where you are trying to go..are you trying to go to a private school in your state or nearby, or are you trying to go to Princeton, because there is a difference.
It is not true that private schools only cater to rich, white people. I'm a African American who's putting himself through college without help of parents. I got accepted to Drake, a private school here in Iowa, and they gave me so many different grants, for a 30k a yr school, I was only responsible for 4k a yr. Not only did I not have scholarships, but Drake is ranked the 3rd best university in the midwest. So do not believe the hype, and my guess is with your grades you'll have no problem getting into whatever college you choose. Now again, if you're trying to go ivy league, or to any other highly selective private schools other factors can play a roll in if you get in or not. Btw, do be know that there excellent non-private colleges. All privates schools are not better than all non-private colleges

Well, private colleges are for rich white kids with bad grades, so you might fit in.
