mercedes E220 ABS ESP problem?
Hi,
I have a 2006 mercedes e220 estate and I have come across a problem which I cannot get fixed. Firstly whilst I was driving the abs and esp come on the dash I took it to a mercedes mechanic who put it on computer which told him the passenger rear speed seosor is faulty. We replaces the speed sensor with a genuine mercedes speed sensor and took the car for a drive the lights come back on after 2min of driving. Took it back to him he check the computer which told him the same problem. So he took replaced the old the new sensor back to the old one because he didn't want to charge me for the sensor if the problem did not get fixed.
Now with the lights on while driving on the moto way doing 70mph my cars power cuts out completely so I have to pull over on hard shoulder and stop then pull off again. It does this couple of times when I'm on the moto way locally it don't do it. What can this problem be. My mechanic said he thinks the drive shaft has rusted inside and that could be the reason for the esp and abs fault. Can some please give me some advice on what I should do. I don't want to go to mercedes drivel as they will charge a lot of money and change everything possible.
Thank in advance

It could be the wiring or a bad ABS module or even the main ABS pump and solenoids. If it was my car I'd just pull the ABS fuse and disable the system so it can't cut the motor power. Put a piece of black electrical tape over the ABS light so it's not in your shining in your face. I don't like leaving repairs go but when you don't have the cash this works. The only thing is if stopping on snow or ice and your vehicle slides you need to pump the brake pedal because there is no ABS functioning.
