how to write a 5 sentence essay?
I have to write a five sentence essay on The Great Gatsby tomorrow in class, and I have no idea how.
Can someone please guide me though this?
Update:Sentances, not paragraphs, I am assured of this.

The steps to writing a good essay are hook, thesis and essay map. The hook, you try to grab the reader onto what you are trying to say. So decided to keep reading, however in the hook you don't want to give to much away. For example a good hook might be (if the topic was how the great gatsby effect society), the great gatsby was very interesting because it effected society's in many ways. Then you would move on to the thesis witch would be basically restating the thesis question which is the question the teacher is having you answer. of course you do not want to restate it word by word. then the essay map comes in, which is basically listing how it effected society. The next sentence can be part of the essay map as well. The last sentence should tie it up all nice and neat. Hope that helped.
Assuming you mean paragraphs and not sentences, your first paragraph will introduce your topic using a topic sentence. It will also list your three main points that you are covering, below.
The body of your essay, the next three paragraphs, will contain your three main points and supporting evidence, one main point per paragraph.
Your last paragraph will be your conclusion. Repeat what you said in your introduction, but use different words so you don't sound like you are repeating yourself. Leave us with a parting thought, if you can.
Five-paragraph essays are pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Good luck!
if you mean paragraph then you start with a introductory paragraph with an interesting quote anecdote etc. then basically tell them what you will be writing about and three reasons or supporting details. after that you have your body where you give your reasons and details then your conclusion where you tell them your reasons again and ba bam your done
