  • Practice makes perfect. Repeat and push yourself getting used to touching the screen with the stylus. Hell, I was afraid once too but I got over it. I got over it by placing multiple sheets of tissue over the touchscreen and gently using it. I repeated it and reduced the tissue layer until I descended to no tissue at all. Or, hell, if you have the balls to do it, then just go out there and touch the ******* screen until your not afraid any more!

  • What if it did fall? o_O.

    Ask yourself:

    1. What is the worst that could happen? The earth is not going to shake. o_O. The electronic device will only have a small scratch if it drops. Since, you're paranoid about it, you will probably catch it, before it even touches the floor.

    2. It's just a material possession. There is a lot more to value in life. Say 'I love you' to someone close. :)

All these things are not going to be with you until eternity. There just electronic devices. Use a plastic cover, if you have to.

  • hearing a recent incident that happened to me lately may help a little.

Generally people think that electronics are "extremely fragile", but really, I think people kind of mix the software and hardware up when they think about it. Software is, in a way, fragile, actually if you think about it, it is very fragile, one little mistake and boom, everything shuts down. But hardware is different, it's durable and banging it around wont do anything, even trying to take a computer apart is HARD.

    Anyway, on to my story.

A couple days ago I was walking around with my laptop in one hand, and was about to give it to someone, so I sort of threw it upward so I could hand it to someone (I still had my hand lightly on it while the weight was being sent upward into the air) when I lost balance of it, tried to grab it, accidentally pushed it, and well, basically I slammed my laptop onto the hard wooden floor as hard as I could.

Now of course I was freaking out, I mean, I just PEGGED MY

1.5 THOUSAND DOLLAR LAPTOP ONTO A HARD WOOD FLOOR!

I picked it up frantically, accidentally threw it onto the table, opened it up, and it was working perfectly, like nothing had ever happened.

Anyway, the moral of the story is, throw your ds lite onto the floor (actually, just drop it) and you'll notice that it's like nothing ever happened to it.

    fears faced, problem solved :)
