My CD Writer does not writes CD?
My CD Writer does not writes CD. It shows the message the burning process completed successfully but when I check the CD it is always empty.

dear i think you are doing wrong process. if you are copying cd to cd then from extra copy cd to cd, i this will work, good luck
If the Capacity is 4 GB, then it isn't a CD, It's called DVD. You can use Nero Express and there are many free DVD writers available on the Internet, But, Make sure your Drive supports DVD Burning!
Here r the remedied
check the wire connected to CD writer , remove the writing software and install again, clean the writer using lens cleaner
still not solves then replace the writer with new one
i'm sure, u r using CD Writer, right..?
then, check the following.
ur driver-lens may have some dust. check that & clean the lens using appropriate cleaner.
always write CDs in low or optimal speed ie <=32x. make sure u r using a writeable disk. also check for ur driver system-bus.

you should try another software or windows default software.
Just insert cd and make a data disk by pasting ur matter in ur cd drive and burn.
if doesn't help update question again.
if your CD writer always reads and doesn't writes meas the lazer component is damaged.. and always use empty cd-r for best results..
YOUR USING THE WRONG DISC FORMAT. IT SHOULD ALWAYS BE "CD- R" if it still doesnt work asking your local computer store what brand your computer is and what format they suggest.
