Is Concerta similar to cocaine??

I suffer from ADHD (diagnosed by an actual Dr.) and have been taking 54 mg of Concerta for the past 3 years. Yesterday my Dr increased my dosage to 72 mg. When I was telling my friend she told me that it's extremely similar to cocaine. Now I am freaking out wondering if the Concerta is gonna hurt my body like cocaine would. Will it? And Will i notice a difference from taking 72 mg now as opposed to 54 mg?

    There is a similar mechanism involved, but no, it's ridiculous to compare the two in their effects. Concerta/methylphenidate are no closer to cocaine than caffeine.

    have the cocaine effect but does not hurt you body in the same way trust me iv been taking it for 10 years
