My laptop wont notice my Micro SD Reader?

Hi,When i connect my USB Micro SD Reader into my Laptop,it doesnt even react and nothing happens.It was working fine earlier today but now it doesnt.By the way,I use it for my R4i 3ds.I dont think its the card because it works in my 3ds.I might have removed it without safely removing it.HELP

    Pulisci i contatti della microsd con una gomma per matita, oppure prova un altra microsd.
