Does so called "true transsexual" entail a primary transsexual?

Asking mainly because I'm looking at possibly going back to school next year and the school I was looking at has trans inclusive insurance, but in the small print says one has to be diagnosed as a true transsexual for SRS coverage and I fit some, but not all the primary transsexual criteria. For the record I think people either are or aren't trans; don't buy into the primary vs secondary stuff etc... Just wondering from the liklihood of an insurance companies perspective.

  • Unfortunately, the insurance companies are trapped in the middle of the 20th century in terms of their understanding of Transsexualism. A good gender therapist will guide you in regards to satisfying the insurance company's absurd, outdated criteria.

  • speak to your gender therapist and see what can be done about the "true" transsexual coverage
