Does running a natural muscle growth inhibitor?

I do 5 sets of 10 pullups everyday followed by 5 to 7 miles of continuous running at what almost seems like a jogging pace to me. Will all this running ruin any progress in improving my number of pull-ups?

Update:

FYI, I have been running at 7.5 miles an hour and yes i am running to primarily loose weight. So interval training would be better geared towards loosing weight?
