English feudal systems.?

On estates or land were the people on the land allowed to harvest the produce and sell them to the public, veggies, meat, fish, wool or wood

Update:

We in NZ have the laws based on the English law and I was wondering would these old rules still be in exsistence today.

  • There were different rules. If a certain produce was under the monopole of the crown, then the crown would have the right to buy it all before the people could sell it to someone else. The crown would also dictate the price, which usually wasn't very good.

On the other hand, each community had the right to one or several fair days each year, when they could sell their products.
