how do i make a specific email address go strait to trash in gmail?

i keep getting emails from sites that i signed up for a long time ago and i don't want to see them anymore. is there a way to make an email from a certain address go strait to the trash in gmail?

    You can

    1. click it and click "SPAM" button

    2. create a filter (top of gmail near the search button) that targets that source address

    Option 2 is better

    ok if u look closely gmail is shorter for googlemail so i think its gmail i have that and itusually is gmail so i guess thats urs to
