Audio Technica ath-m50 vs Sol Republic Tracks HD?
Which headphones have higher quality sound and build quality? I'm not really concerned with looks either. I am aware that the Sol Republics are on-ear while the Audio Technicas are over-ear. Anyway, which headphones are better?

I would take the Sol Republic Tracks HD. I realize that many people would disagree but let me explain. There's a $70 difference between the MSRP, and the sound between both are really amazing. Durability, Comfort, and Style goes to the Tracks. Sound would go to the 50s. Portability would be pretty even. Tracks have much better features (I'm sure you know all about it). Tracks also have muuuuuuuuch better bass, since that's what most people are looking for.
**Just a side note, but SOL Republic has come out with the new Tracks Ultra, which i would recommend over both of these. Might wanna check that out for $179
Audio Technicas M50
Audio-Technica M50. Hands down. Really, they have one of the best high quality sounds and build quality.
i think the m50s are more reliable and trustworthy
