Seventeenth birthday party?

yeah so Im having my seventeenth birthday party in december and i want to have a crazy party, this is also a problem because my parents will be watching us like hawks.

i kind of want to do a rated r movie party but most of them (that i like) are horror movies which i cant do because i have a good friend who really can not watch them, so that leaves awesome movies like the hangover but i dont know of any other like fantastic movies that everyone would like(hinity hint hint suggestion)

i would also like ANY other ideas because me and my friends watch movies all the time and i want this to be an awesome party that everyone specifically remembers

Resources: pool, deck, trampoline, flashlights, fire pit,

i also have a problem with who to invite, i have like class friends(mathclassfriends, yearbookfriends) but i mostly just hangout with(dailybasis) my band friends. i know everyone wont get along with eachother so do i just not invite the other friends and only invite the band ones?

btw, mustache party?

  • Pixar movies are a universal favorite for both kids and adults. Sprinkle in some classic Disney films (say, Fantasia, Sleeping Beauty, or Lion King), and I think you'll have a promising movie night.

If you're worried about who to invite, I don't see a problem with mixing together friends from band, yearbook, and math class. Parties like this one can work out to be excellent, excellent icebreakers, and it gives you the opportunity to create a lot of lasting friendships between however many groups of friends you're considering.

With that in mind, the resources you have could definitely work in your favor. Circle up around the firepit and have a rousing session of Truth or Dare. Tell everyone to bring as many pillows as possible and have a pillow fight tournament on the trampoline (a la the first scene of Sorority Row), and if your parents decide to shoot that down, then Crack the Egg--where a random person rolls into a ball and everyone jumps on the trampoline in order to "crack" that person--is also tons of fun. If you have a large section of woods bordering your yard, you can play some flashlight tag. A diving contest can also be pretty fun if your pool has a deep end--because you just know someone is gonna end up doing a glorified belly flop. 9_9

Water balloon fights aren't too bad, either--I'm assuming you have enough free space in your backyard for this, because this idea ain't gonna work inside. But you don't necessarily have to fill them with water--if you tell your friends to bring a change of clothes, a relatively crappy shirt, or a bathing suit, then you can replace water with whipped cream, condiments, or various colors of Jell-O--or even improvise some kind of goop in the kitchen that wouldn't look out of place on those old Nickelodeon game shows--and just make it up from there. Just make sure the hose is ready and waiting when all's said and done. ^_^

Dude above me probably hit the nail on the head--fifteen, twenty people is probably a good enough amount of people for whatever kind of craziness you plan on having.

Anyhow, an early happy birthday to you! I hope I was able to provide some ideas, and I hope your party is an awesome one! :)

  • Firstly you can do what you want, if youre friend cant watch horror movies then dont invite her or she just has to deal with it. seriously horror movies are so good at parties, on my 12th birthday i told everyone to bring at least 1 horror movie, and with 12 horror movies we watched them till 5 in the morning! It was great cuz everyone liked them and we didnt get bored.

Anyway another thng you can do is woth your trampoline.

At night when its dark go outside, put youre trampoline near the pool and tell everyone to bring a swimsuit.

pick 3-4 people at a time, they have to go onto the trampoline and try to push each other off into the pool, it will be so amusing to watch and to play, you will have a laugh about it for ages!

I dont think you should use the fire pit, as fire and crazy parties dnt mix, unless you want your house burnt down!

Anyway for the people inviting problem i suggest you invte anyone you like.

    Maybe around 15 people.

    Friends first obviously

Then people you say hello to sometimes and stuff like that.
