Air Canada Employee Perks?
Hey, I just got called in for an interview for Air Canada. I was just wondering if anyone who works there can tell me what the benefits are. The person from AC who called me yesterday told me i have dental, health, and after six months, travel benefits. I would just like some information on those benefits. (ie. Can i bring my family? How much would i have to pay or is the ticket free? etc) thank you

Flight benefits are for you and your immediate family. Also know you are responsible for paying any airport fees or HST/GST/PST. Also if you do fly for free, you are on stand-by so all paying customers plus employees who have more seniority than you get to board first. The flight benefits that airlines offer now are not as good as they used to be. In the past, airlines were content with flying half-empty planes. Now the load factor is closer to 80%.

Air Canada as an airline sucks big time but the government has already threatened them with back to work legislation. You wouldn't be able to tell if the employees are trying to make you flight bad as they already do that and along with the airlines bad service it really couldn't get any worse.
