Do acrylic nails hurt?
I have my homecoming this weekend. Me and my friends are going to get our nails done tomorrow and I think I want to get acrylic nails. My nails are all uneven and I feel like when they cut them they'll look too short and will look bad. We are cheerleaders so the nails have to be short so we can still cheer the game. That being said I'm a cheerleader so will it hurt to get them done and do you think it's a bad idea even if they're short. Also does it just hurt in general. I heard it hurts to take them off so are there any tips to make it less painful. Thanks in advance!

I get my nails done every two weeks. What i suggest is that you cut your fingernails down as short as they will go before you go to get your nails done.They will put fake tips on and they will ask you how short you want the tips.. I usually get mine done in a square shape and then get them painted one solid color. Have the nail place take them off when they start to grow out, then it is not painful at all.
I like short, trimmed nails more than I like long nails. The only time I like seeing long nails is if they're painted, simply because I think they look disgusting without. They look like long claws to me.
I'm a guy, and individually, I don't like long nails. I know a lot of like lengthy, painted nails cause they're "so pretty", but I don't like them.
No they dont hurt but they make sure they are very pretty
