If you want better mileage yes. If you are looking for a long life both of them are getting to the point where expensive things start needing repairs.
Depends on what your goals are. Are you just commuting in it? Then ya, its probably a good trade.
Just make sure its had its timing belt and water pump done. Thats the only big repair i see coming up. Other than that, if you change the oil, and keep it topped off on fluids, it should easily last to 250-300k miles.
