How do I build a custom car?
Well i LOVE, The 67 Impala SS and since I turn 16 in a few months (Finally) I can get a job and drive. So, I planned to get a car, then I thought, why not customize a car!
So I'm wondering how do I go about getting an old beat up 1967 SS Impala and customizing it to my liking ( like TO THE MAX) and btw, i never checked ( never thought about it) but do they have back seats, (I'd rather them not)
Update:Great Idea, surprised that i didn't think to look for a forum.

Some community colleges have shops and classes where the work can be learned. While doing the work on your car.Check it out.Or spend a lot of $ for someone to do it.
dude, first thing to remember is that this will cost more than buying a new Mustang.
with that out of the way;
you, not the online community will have to learn everything about that car, i mean everything.
electrical diagrams,
engine blocks,
spark plugs,
headings,
crankcases,
clutches,
transmissions,
....
even the junkyard locations from where to buy the random parts
don't think i am trying to discourage you...
i took a lot of automotive courses, i've took classes at UTI.
find a forum that deals with your car, on which are a lot of fellow enthusiasts, they could help you a lot if your willing to learn and take the time to ask them nicely.
It varies via state. Most states have provisions for constructing your possess vehicle from scratch. Some states would require vast inspections to insure street worthiness. One company would require the State Patrol to examine your electrical vehicle conversion to certify that "sure, it does now not run on fuel". Go to distinct company and they are going to effortlessly difference the gasoline supply at the registration from G to E, performed! As for the auto itself you'll be able to purchase fiberglass replicas of a couple of automobiles. There is one corporation, Beck is within the identify, that makes a satisfactory copy of a 1957 Porsche Speedster and a few different units. (The .five is he took his first one absolutely aside and rebuilt it with extra vigor and greater accouterments.) He has videoed the whole thing . He could be a bit uninteresting every now and then however he has made the errors so you do not need to. But begin with electrical conversions. The sky is the limit if you have the money and yes there are back seats in this model car. As far as how to customize is up to you and your preference .
