I think I understand which you mean. You would like to transfer the contact information from your old contact list (and email address) to your new email address (and contact list).
Since I want to "copy", not transfer or move the information, I am still waiting for someone to answer how to do that.
I defer to others on moving the information, again, since I want to not do that, but to "Copy" so that the information is in both places.

Hopefully, you kept your old account open. If so, you can send the new email address from that one to your friends.
Also, use the Import/Export feature in yahoo to transfer data to your new account.
