How would you translate this to English: Gavilan que agarra y suelta no es gavilan?

It is a saying in Spanish and I think that when I translate it literaly it looses a lot of the meaning... =(

  • "A hawk that catches and lets loose, is no hawk at all"

  • hawk that takes (hunt) and then let go is not a real hawk thats the translation but i dont know if you get it

its kind of a proverb im spanish speker but i'm not sure how to translate it in a way that you understand its making reference from a animal to a person something like that person do something and then he regreats that means he just want to feing being someone rude but he really is not... i hope it helps its kind of hard to explain... it involves contry culture

  • I have no theory of Spanish whether it fairly is a Latin language bearing directly to Romanian & Italian, such: "Ahora" - proper now/This 2d "no importa" - there is of no value/no value "lo importante es" - the significant count is "que estes bien y te sientas bien" - which you're nicely and you're feeling stable. Edit: yammee mentioned it suited!
